On March 18, the Adolat 100 MW/200 MWh Energy Storage Power Station Project in Uzbekistan achieved full-capacity grid connection. The project is invested by China Energy Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. and constructed by China Energy Construction Group Co., Ltd.

Located in Olmaliq, Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan, the project features a 100 MW/200 MWh energy storage system and includes a new 220 kV booster station. Once operational, it will provide nearly 3 billion kWh of annual electricity regulation capacity, along with fast peak-shaving and frequency regulation capabilities, playing a significant role in enhancing the stability of the local power system and promoting a green energy transition.
