CEEC-contracted 200 MW Solar PV Project Breaks Ground in Cambodia’s Stung Treng Province

On March 14 local time, construction began on the 200 MW Solar PV Project in Stung Treng Province, Cambodia. The project is under an EPC contract secured by the Southwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. of China Power Engineering Consulting Group.

Located in Stung Treng Province, the project has a DC capacity of approximately 228 MW and an AC capacity of 200 MW, and includes the construction of a 230 kV booster station. Once operational, it will be the largest centralized solar PV station in the province, delivering a major boost to local clean energy development.
