On March 6, the Project Department of the Caculo Cabaça Hydropower Project, undertaken by CGGC of CEEC, launched its first “farmers’ market” at the service area of Camp No.4, which is warmly dubbed by local villagers as the “Happy Market Day.”

Early that morning, villagers from neighboring communities arrived at the market on a bus arranged by the Project Department, carrying a rich variety of local agricultural products. They quickly filled their stalls with colorful vegetables and fruits, turning the camp into a vibrant marketplace.
The market is launched to help local farmers expand sales channels and increase income while providing fresh, locally grown products to project staff, a true win-win arrangement. “Our products are not only delicious but also affordable,” said a local villager excitedly.
Beyond project staff, the market also attracted buyers from the owner, supervision team, and various partner organizations. This year, the project team plans to host the farmers’ market weekly on a two-day basis.
