Recently, China Power Engineering Consulting Group International Co., Ltd. signed a shareholder agreement with JAKS Resources Berhad in Kuala Lumpur for Malaysia’s LSS Phase 5 and above (LSS5+) Photovoltaic Project.

The project is a large-scale ground-mounted solar PV power plant with a planned installed capacity of 199.98 MW and a total investment exceeding RMB 1 billion. It will be delivered through an integrated “investment, financing, construction, and operation” model. The agreement defines the respective responsibilities of both parties during the construction and operation phases, providing a legal basis for subsequent financing and EPC execution. The parties will next expedite ODI filing and financial closing to ensure the scheduled commercial operation of the project.
