On June 20, Xu Lu, Deputy General Manager of CEEC, visited H.E. Adylbek Kasymaliev, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Bishkek. Lyu Zexiang, Chairman of China Energy International Group Co., Ltd., attended the meeting.
H.E. Kasymaliev underscored that, in recent years, CEEC has played a significant role in the development of the energy, power, and infrastructure sectors in the Kyrgyz Republic. He expressed his expectation that CEEC would continue to leverage its professional expertise and experience to deepen cooperation in priority areas such as hydropower, power transmission and transformation, new energy, and transportation. The Prime Minister further emphasized that the Kyrgyz government will undertake comprehensive support measures to facilitate CEEC’s development in the country. Xu Lu stated that CEEC stands ready to capitalize on its “Energy+” integrated development model, engaging comprehensively in bilateral cooperation between China and the Kyrgyz Republic across energy, power, infrastructure and related fields, so as to substantively advance the energy transition and infrastructure upgrading of the Kyrgyz Republic.
