From June 16 to 17, CEEC secured multiple strategic agreements in wind power, photovoltaic-storage integration, and hydrogen energy during the Second China-Central Asia Summit.
China Energy Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. and Kazakhstani Samruk-Energy JSC exchanged the Shareholder Agreement for the 500MW Wind Power Project with Energy Storage System in Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan. It also signed the Agreement on Hydrogen Energy Research and Innovation Cooperation in Central Asia with Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Ministry of Energy, as well as the Power Purchase Agreement for Turkistan 300MW Photovoltaic Project with Energy Storage in Kazakhstan with the Kazakhstan Financial Settlement Center.
During the summit, Energy China International signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while China Energy Engineering Group Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. inked a memorandum of cooperation with the National Energy Research and Design Institute Joint Stock Company of Kazakhstan.
