Lyu Zexiang Meets with Kairat Maksutov, Chairman of Samruk-Energy JSC in Kazakhstan

On May 20, Lyu Zexiang, Chairman of China Energy International Group Co., Ltd., met with Kairat Maksutov, Chairman of Kazakhstan’s state-owned Samruk-Energy JSC, at the headquarters of Energy China International. During the meeting, the two sides expressed their shared hope to continuously deepen strategic alignment, establish regular dialogue mechanisms, and enhance information sharing. They emphasized the importance of accelerating the launch and implementation of key cooperative projects in new energy and other areas, and the need to innovate the business cooperation models, strengthen joint efforts in preliminary development of projects, and expand the cooperation in fields such as energy storage, gas turbines, and new energy. They also agreed to establish a closer partnership to upgrade and enhance cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the power sector.
