On December 25 local time, Uzbekistan’s Tashkent Solar Energy Storage Project, the largest electrochemical energy storage project in Central Asia, successfully achieved its full-capacity grid connection with its energy storage station. The project, EPC-contracted by CEEC, is fully prepared to support stable operation and commercial commissioning.

Serving as a core infrastructure supporting project for the new urban area of Tashkent, the project comprises a 200 MW solar power plant and a 500 MWh energy storage system, among which the solar power plant has already been completed and handed over.
