Xue Danfeng Meets with Daler Juma, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan

On March 28 local time, Xue Danfeng, Vice Chairman of Energy China International, met with Daler Juma, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan.

Mr. Xue highlighted that Energy China, leveraging its strong technical expertise and sustained innovation capability, has been actively involved in the development of the energy and electricity sector in Central Asia, with extensive experience gained and achievements made across the full lifecycle of renewable energy initiatives from development and financing to construction. Energy China stands ready to align its strengths with Tajikistan’s “National Development Strategy 2030”, enhance collaboration between the two sides in smart grid development and green energy infrastructure construction, and provide integrated solutions and full industry-chain services to facilitate Tajikistan’s energy transition and sustainable, green energy development.

Minister Juma acknowledged Tajikistan’s nascent renewable energy sector, emphasizing the country’s substantial demand in energy, electricity and infrastructure modernization. As he noted, “Our cooperation holds immense potential across multiple fields”. He also called for expedited project implementation through mutually beneficial partnerships and in-depth collaboration in multiple areas, expecting that such collaboration would further empower Tajikistan’s socio-economic progress.

The meeting was also attended by relevant representatives from both sides.
