On May 28, during the inaugural ASEAN-China-GCC Summit, the Special Session: Enhancing ASEAN-GCC- China Investments was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Song Hailiang, Chairman of CEEC, delivered a speech at the session as a representative of Chinese enterprises. In his speech, Chairman Song emphasized that CEEC is committed to accelerating its integration into the new ASEAN-China-GCC cooperation framework. He stated that CEEC stands ready to promote the green and low-carbon transition of the energy sector, and to help build a mutually beneficial and integrated ASEAN-China-GCC cooperation ecosystem. He stressed that, with these efforts, CEEC will play a crucial role in fostering regional cooperation and economic development in both the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
