Lyu Zexiang Meets with Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure

On April 11 local time, Lyu Zexiang met with Sharif Al Olama, undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, in Dubai.

Sharif noted that the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, committed to advancing the UAE’s sustainable development in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, housing, and transport through innovation and technologies, enjoys ample space for cooperation with CEEC. He hoped that the two sides would continue to deepen exchanges, enhance collaboration in key sectors in the UAE, and make concerted efforts to elevate the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and the UAE to a higher level

Lyu Zexiang emphasized that CEEC has always regarded the UAE as strategically significant market and has undertaken a wide array of public welfare projects represented by the Umm Al Quwain 150 MIGD Seawater Desalination Project. He noted that CEEC is poised to enhance communication with the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and deepen the cooperation in the green energy and infrastructure sectors by leveraging its full-industry-chain advantages‌ and ‌integrated “investment-construction-operation” capabilities
