On April 20, the Adolat 100MW/200MWh Energy Storage Power Station project in Uzbekistan, constructed by China Energy Construction Group, officially commenced and entered the substantive construction phase.
The Project is located in Olmaliq, Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan, approximately 70 km from the city center of Tashkent, the capital. Covering an area of about 5 hectares, it will be equipped with a 100MW/200MWh energy storage system and a newly built 220kV step-up substation. Upon completion, the Project will provide nearly 3 billion kWh of electricity annually to Uzbekistan, playing a significant role in enhancing the stability of the local power grid and facilitating economic growth alongside green energy transition.
